Thirteen vs Adrian Mole

These are stories of adolescents that have got some troubles and their lives change. Adrian Mole is thirteen years old and their parents are divorcing. He's very worried about his spots and about his "thing" size. He really loves one girl, her name is Pandora. Nigel is his best friend, but in a moment of story, Nigel goes out with Pandora and this is very annoying for Adrian. He hates his boyfriend's mother.



In the film, Thirteen, Tracy isn't popular at school, and she wants to resolve the problem making friends that are into drugs (not comparing with the boy of the book) and she refuses her first friends. Like the book of Adrian, Tracy's friend steals Tracy's boyfriend. And in the book, Nigel steals Adrian's love. We can also find some more similiraties with the book. For example, Tracy's parents are divorcing and Adrian's parents too. Like a boy of the book, that hates his boyfriend's mother, Tracy thinks like Adrian, because she hates her boyfriend's mother.
